“I’m truly proud to present my first solo album in 10 years. It contains everything from ideas I started working on back in the very beginning of my career, songwriting camps and sessions across the world, through my music today. In some ways, it’s like a «best of the unreleased songs». This is a collection of the songs I wasn’t able to give away or forget, and that have been on the tip of my heart for far too long. I haven’t tried to create an album that’s in keeping with the trends of today. I have simply collected the songs that I’ve written that have moved me the most over the last few years. My hope is that it can bring joy to you, too.”

Christian Ingebrigtsen is one of Norway’s most successful artists. As a member of pop group a1, he has achieved two UK number ones, a Brit Award for “best newcomer” in 2001, and a total of 10 UK top ten singles selling millions of records worldwide.
Christian embarked on his solo career in 2003, and has reached the number one spot twice in his home country, Norway, with the songs “In love with an angel” and ”Things are gonna change”. He has released 3 gold and platinum selling solo albums since then, and has established himself as a household name in his home country.
He started taking violin lessons at the age of six, then went on to piano and guitar, and chose to study music and drama in high school. Soon he would play piano concerts in churches and for various functions in his local area. But it wasn’t until he was 16, that he started writing his first songs.
