Description
HARP CONCERTINO (… after a soft Silence, an enormous Thunder … ) for harp and orchestra was commissioned in 2018
by LA MONNAIE/DE MUNT, Brussels
There exists also a version for harp and ensemble (14 players)
and a version for harp, percussion (1 or 2 players) and string orchestra
Inspired by John’s Book of Revelation from the Christian Bible, and also by Beethoven’s Fifth and Sixth Symphonies
Dedicated to Agnès Clément
First performance on February 17th, 2019 by harpist Agnès Clément, the Symphonic Orchestra of LA MONNAIE/DE MUNT
and conductor Alain Altinoglu, at Bozar in Brussels
The work contains two parts:
