PUST is a vocal ensemble that presents versatility, innovative and playful use of the voice, combined with a high musical level.
PUST has been established as one of the leading vocal groups in Norway, and has won recognition and prizes abroad. They are situated in Oslo and started up in spring 2003. The singers of PUST has a wide solo expertise in genres such as folk music, classical, soul, pop and jazz.
The repertoire is mainly a mixture of folk, jazz and ethnic genres. PUST is based on original song selections, and all compositions and arrangements are written by or for PUST. Much is performed a cappella, but the group also cooperates with other musicians. On SoundCloud you will find sound samples of PUST’s music.
