EDVARD GRIEG: Jeg elsker Dig!
Edvard Grieg, then 22 years old, wrote the melody to Hans Christian Andersens poem “Jeg elsker Dig/Min Tankes Tanke” in 1864. He later dedicated it to his wife, Nina, when they married.
